1/- Mệnh đề trạng ngữ dùng với “SO”: vì vậy, do đó
Ex: Hoa worked hard, so she passed her exam.
It was hot, so I turned on the air conditioner.
2/- Mệnh đề trạng ngữ dùng với “so/such…that”: …đến nỗi mà…
a/- So + adj/adv + that
Ex: Jim is so intelligent that he always understands what I say.
They sing so beautifully that everyone wants to listen them.
b/- Such + noun + that
Ex: She is such a good student that all the teachers like her.
They are such beautiful pictures that I want to buy them all.
3/- Mệnh đề trạng ngữ dùng với “so much/many/few/little + noun + that”
a/- So much/little + uncountable noun + that: nhiều/ít …đến nỗi mà…
Ex: I have so much money that I don’t know what to do with it.
There is so little water that I can’t take a tablet
b/- So many/few + plural countable noun + that: nhiều/ít…đến nỗi mà…
Ex: There are so many students that I can’t count them all
She has so few relatives that she doesn’t have anyone to ask for help.
